Lead Pastor: Chris Wilson
Pastor Chris has lived in the Red Deer area fourteen years he began serving as lead Pastor of First Baptist church in 2007. He began serving part-time while working in oil field services, taking on his Pastoral role full-time in 2016. Pastor Chris is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus, he really values community and the gathering of the church.

Youth Pastor: Brandon Parsons
Brandon and his wife Jenna have lived in Red Deer for eight years and began serving as youth pastor in 2018. Brandon has spent time serving in various youth ministries and camps for seventeen years. Jenna and Brandon are passionate about seeing the next generation get to know Jesus and the purpose he has for every student.
"First Baptist Church is unlike any church we have been a part of. They’ve really taken the time to get to know our family and invest in our lives. Even though we work in the church it has never felt like work because of the constant support and appreciation everyone has given, we are blessed to call First Baptist Church our home."
Children’s Ministry Coordinator:
Connie’s family moved to Red Deer when she was in Grade Five and she has been here ever since! She has a passion to see children grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus having gained experience over thirty years of working in children’s ministry groups. She began serving as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of First Baptist Church in 2015.
"I have a passion for working with Children because of the positive impact Children and Youth workers made in changing the direction of my life. I love First Baptist Church it is a church where our family has made connections and friendships which support and encourage each other on their journey of faith."
Charlene has lived in Red Deer all her life; she began working as the administrator of First Baptist church in 2019. She loves First Baptist Church because for her it is home; it fills many of her interests allowing her to be creative while being taught the gospel in an educational way, but her favorite thing about First Baptist are the relationships and friends she has made while being here.
"I love how FBC feels like family and there are many people I can call upon if I need help or someone to talk to. The people here are genuine, warm, and, friendly. We have very meaningful conversations and a lot of fun. I feel loved and at home at First Baptist Church."
